Türkiye targets $15 billion in trade with Belgium

At a round table in Brussels, Trade Minister Bolat set a goal of lifting trade with Belgium from $9.3 billion in 2025 to $15 billion.

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced a target of raising bilateral trade with Belgium to $15 billion, up from $9.3 billion in 2025. He spoke at a Türkiye-Belgium high-level round table in Brussels, organized with the Belgian Federation of Enterprises (FEB) and the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK).

Bolat described Türkiye as a reliable production, investment and supply chain partner, and said the Türkiye-EU Customs Union and the industrial integration built over the years should be taken into account in the EU's 'Made in EU' approach. He added that treating Türkiye's Industrial Acceleration Act as equivalent in all its provisions would help protect competitiveness and supply chains.

Both sides pledged to support steps that make it easier for companies to reach new markets and to open the way for new investment.
