It is the weight a carrier bills for: the higher of the actual weight and the volumetric weight of the cargo.
Which divisors does the tool use?
Sea: the volume in cm³ divided by 1,000,000 gives cubic metres, and 1 CBM is treated as 1,000 kg. Road: cm³ divided by 3,000 gives kg. Air: cm³ divided by 6,000 gives kg.
Do I have to enter the weight?
No. The weight is optional. Without it, the chargeable weight equals the volumetric weight.
